Environment, Health & Safety
We strive to protect the environment of the regions we operate in. We do not touch conserved forest lands for cultivation; we develop waste and barren land into plantations wherever possible. Some of the key focus areas of our R&D partnership with the Minerals, Metals & Materials Technology Centre at the National University of Singapore are energy efficiency, sustainable farming practices and reducing carbon emissions.

We adhere to Health & Safety requirements outlined by the regional law and as specified by international best practices. Protecting employees from occupational hazards and improving their health and overall well-being is important for us. Necessary training and safeguards have been put in place for plantation workers, to minimise the risk of accidents. Our investment in Health & Safety measures has improved productivity and reduced the loss in man-hours.
